Chad is a country in Africa, it borders Libya to the north, Sudan to the east, the Central African Republic to the south, Niger to the west, and Cameroon and Nigeria to the southwest. The capital city of Chad is N'Djamena.
乍得北接利比亚，东与苏丹接壤，南接中非共和国，西与尼日尔交界，西南与喀麦隆和尼日利亚接壤。乍得首都是恩贾梅纳。
National Flag 国旗
The national flag of Chad is a tricolor flag consisting of three vertical bands of blue, yellow, and red. Blue represents the sky and hope, yellow represents the natural resources, and red represents prosperity, unity and the blood shed fighting for independence.
乍得国旗是三色旗，由蓝、黄、红三个垂直条纹组成的。蓝色代表天空和希望，黄色代表自然资源，红色代表繁荣、团结和为独立而战的流血。
Languages 语言
The official languages of Chad are Arabic and French.
乍得的官方语言是阿拉伯语和法语。
Currency 货币
Chad uses Central African CFA franc.
乍得使用中非CFA法郎为法定货币。
Population 人口
As of 2018 estimates, the population of Chad is 15.23million.
乍得人口2018年估计数为一千五百二十三万。
National Anthem 国歌
The national anthem of Chad is "La Tchadienne", meaning "The Chad Song" in English.
乍得国歌是“La Tchadiene”，意思是“乍得之歌”。
National Day 国庆节
The National Day of Chad is on the 11th of August, on which it obtained its independence from France in 1960.
乍得国庆节在8月11日，1960年8月11日乍得从法国获得独立。
Natural Resources 自然资源
Mineral resources in Chad include oil, gold, uranium, titanium, and bauxite. Agricultural products include cotton, rice, and wheat. Fishing is also practised in the Lake Chad, Chari, and Logone basins.
乍得的矿产资源包括石油、黄金、铀、钛和铝土矿；农产品有棉花、大米和小麦；在乍得湖、查利湖和洛涅盆地也有渔业活动。

N'Djamena 恩贾梅纳
N'Djamena is the capital city of Chad. It lies on the border with Cameroon and is located on the confluence of the Chariand Logone rivers. The national museum of Chad, mosques, cathedrals and the presidential palaces are some of the attractions in the city.
恩贾梅纳是乍得的首都。它位于乍得和喀麦隆的边境，查利河和洛涅河的交汇处。其景点有国家博物馆、清真寺、大教堂和总统府等。

This is the largest water body in the country, it provides water to people in 4 countries that surround it. Climate change and severe droughts have reduced its size; however, it still remains a popular spot for fishing, boating, and other activities.
乍得湖是该国最大的水体，为周边4个国家的人民提供水源。气候变化和严重的干旱已经缩小了它的面积；但它仍然是捕鱼、划船和其他活动的热门场所。

This is a mountainous range and has a large number of canyons, gravels, humungous peaks etc. Here you can watch camel race and visit hot thermal springs.

The national museum has a collection of numerous artefacts and medieval items including stone heads, masks, bone tools, helve holed axes, musical instruments and many more items.

This park has rare species of mammals and birds, the wildlife such as elephants are protected by government hired guards to avoid poaching. Accomodation services from camping grounds to restaurants and services have been developed within the park.

This region is in the middle of the Sahara Desert, it is home to some of the most remarkable rock formations in the world. Canyons, stone arches, prehistoric cave paintings can all be found within this region. Nile crocodiles and gazelles can also be seen around the region.

This is a World Heritage Site, there are 18 lakes spanning around 20 square Kilometers in the Sahara. The lakes are supplied by underground fossil water.
